TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

General Terms and Conditions

1.1. A legally binding contract with Customer occurs when Worktop Direct Ltd. receives a written, telephone or electronic confirmation from Customer of their order. Worktop Direct Ltd. is registered in England and Wales with company number 7149970. Worktop Direct Ltd.'s registered office address is at Old Brook Farm, Murthering Lane, Navestock, Romford, Essex, RM4 1HL, UK.
1.2. Customer agrees to accept and abide by the terms and conditions as provided or modified; Worktop Direct Ltd. reserves the right at any time to modify these terms and conditions.

Worktops, Delivery and Labour Prices

2.1. All products and delivery prices are final, as announced in this web site.
2.2. Online or telephone quotation for installation is only a guide. All prices quoted for a maximum of seven days. 

Payment and Charges

3.1. Full payment of worktops and delivery is required before delivery. Materials remain property of Worktop Direct Ltd. until payment in full.
3.2. Installation costs are payable at its conclusion. The final actual price may differ depending on the conditions encountered during installation by fitter.
3.3. Payment methods: Online bank transfer, counter deposit, valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), cleared personal cheque and Paypal® are accepted; fees are additional. 
3.4. All balances due in full upon delivery or fitting. Interest of 1.5% per month accrues on balances outstanding. Customer is liable for all collection expenses required by Worktop Direct Ltd. to collect arrears balances.

Returns

4.1. Customer must notify Worktop Direct Ltd. of any product quality issues at time installation commences or at time of delivery. No responsibility is be taken by Worktop Direct Ltd. after fitting.
4.2. If Worktop Direct Ltd. cannot fulfill Customer's order, Worktop Direct Ltd. will refund Customer's down payment less miscellaneous charges incurred by Worktop Direct Ltd. or renegotiate the order if desired by Customer.

Privacy

5.1. Worktop Direct Ltd. uses Customer information for internal use only and does not disclose or sell such information to any third parties. 

Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

6.1. All intellectual property including trademark and other proprietary rights apply. The Worktop Direct Ltd. site shall not be copied, transferred and all content shall remain confidential for the exclusive use of visitors acting as Worktop Direct Ltd. customers. No use of this site for other purposes without the expressed written permission of Worktop Direct Ltd.
6.2. Customer accepts placement of Worktop Direct Ltd.'s trademark on goods as an inseparable feature that uniquely identifies Worktop Direct Ltd.'s goods as goods that are distinctive in quality and value.

Customer Arranged Transportation

7.1. Customer may arrange his/her own transport from Worktop Direct Ltd. premises; in this case Customer is responsible for suitable packing of the purchased objects, which can also be provided by Worktop Direct Ltd. for an extra charge. Worktop Direct Ltd. will bear no responsibility for damage caused by a courier OR errors or defects occurring during a Customer-arranged method of delivery or from defects/failure of Client's package.
7.2. The Customer has a right to inspect goods by making appointment before collection.

Delivery

8.1. If due to Customer fault, the goods are not taken up or delivered by the date specified in the contract, Worktop Direct Ltd. may either treat the contract as repudiated or store the goods at Customer risk and expense. 
8.2. Estimates of delivery dates and times are approximate only. 
8.3. Worktop Direct Ltd. accepts no liability for any loss, injury, damage or expense as a result of or consequent to any delay in the delivery of goods. Delay due to circumstances outside Worktop Direct Ltd. control shall not entitle the Customer to cancel any order or refuse to accept delivery. Parking space for Worktop Direct Ltd. delivery should be organized by Customer; in the event such space is not reachable or clearly arranged by Customer in advance, all necessary fees (receipts) will be presented for reimbursement by Worktop Direct Ltd.'s templator or fitter to Customer.
